UFBU in its meeting held on 28th June 2017 at Mumbai decided to launch agitation to oppose and resist the anti-people banking reforms and expediting next wage revision negotiation: The following programmes to be implemented:

Central MRM held on 17th Dec. 2016 at HO in cordial atmosphere. Worthy MD&CEO and ED-HR addressed. GMs, DGMs & other officials of HRMD&HRDD, top officials of GSAD, IRMD, RAD & PF Divn were present. The hard work being done by officers, employees & IT team in demonetization is highly appreciated by MD& CEO. We raised issues of harsmnt of officers by public, fake note liability etc before MD. Management agreed for increase in SFF, OD limit, Festival Adv & late sitting compensation. Expect Improvements in HL, VL & other issues very soon. Detailed Circular follows

SFF Limit increased for Scale I Rs.One lac(25% increase) with tapering rate for higher scales up to Rs.4.80 lacs (13% increase)

Festival Advance limit increased: Scale I Rs.35000/- Scale II Rs.50,000/- Scale III Rs.60,000/- Scale IV & V Rs.85,000/- Scale VI & VII Rs.1,00,000.

Conciliation meeting with CLC concluded on 26th July 2016 and no agreement reached. STRIKE stands. The UFBU called Strike on 29th July covers all our members irrespective of Scale & Grade including newly joined officers. March on & ensure participation of all to make it a grand success.

Second option of pension list emailed to circle mail ID. Cntact them to deposit the amount on or before 30 July 2016. We are trying for netting of arrears of pension & computation against amount to be deposited. However, advise them to deposit the amount before the due date.

Promotee Officers from Sc-I to II & Scale II Officers on Inter-Circle request Transfer are to be relieved today as per earlier HRMS Notice & shall be joining new place on 4th July

However, Internal promotion rounded off to 9150 & Direct recruit to 1650 in officer cadre.

On our demand for Interest Free Flood Relief to Members of staff at Tamil Nadu, Management took a considered view & approved interest free loan of Rs.1.50 lacs for Officers repayable in 48 months.

On our demand & persuasion, staff Housing Loan limit increased from Rs.40 lac to Rs.60 lac up to Scale - IV & Rs.80 lac to above Scale IV approved. ROI (simple) reduced from 8% to 6.75% up to 40 lac.

Car loan to Officers increased from Rs.7 to Rs.10 lac & Interest reduced from 8.5% (up to Rs.2 lacs) & BR 9.60% (above Rs.2 lacs) to flat 7% on the entire loan amount.

Central MRM meeting held on 23.11.2015 at HO in cordial atmosphere.Improved compensation for working on Sundays/CTS non-holidays/ agreed. Amount & details will be finalised in small committee meeting soon. Improvements in Housing Loan, Car Loan & most other issues received positive response for early resolution. MD & CEO message on business focus areas & other details follows.

Clean OD facility to officers available after 5 years now extended to officers with 3 years service with ceiling up to Rs.1.50 lakh as demanded by our Association.

We are pleased to inform that one of our very long pending MRM demand is approved. 1. HL for 2nd House within overall entitlement at concessional rate.

Following also done:
1. Housing Loan repayment extended to 300 months/70 years for existing loan.
2. One more time substitution of property in Housing Loan even if done before.
3. Concession in ROI in Education Loan to children of staff & to continue beyond retirement for existing & new loan at BR w.e.f 01.06.2015.

As demanded in our Central MRM & through various letters, following issues resolved & approved.

1. Car Loan repayment extended up to 65 age with concessional ROI & 2nd car loan after 3 years.

2. Lease rental increased w.e.f. 1.6.15 for all Scales. Increase ranging from 56% to 122% for various scales over the existing limit Ref: PAD Cir. No. 264 dt.7.5.2015

3. Officers residing in the accommodation owned by their parents or son/daughter (not dependent on the Officers) – 80 % of their Lease Rental entitlement.

4. Sealed cover policy improved: Any number of Minor penalty- no Debar for promotion. Major Penalty debar period reduced to 1 year from 2 years at present.

Retirees from 01.11.12 to 31.05.15 can view their wage Arrears from any Branch of PNB, verify & approve it there itself in system, after that it will reach automatically the branch fr where retired & that branch will credit arrears to pension account. No TDS deducted centrally.

Sc - II on automatic movement & for Sc III, one addition Stagnation after 2 years of reaching 3rd & 4th Stagnation respectively. HRA 9 %, 8 % & 7 %.

Distribution chart finalised. Pay scales start Sc-I to VII 23700 to 85000. One additional stag increment to scale II, III & IV after 2 yrs of reaching last stagnation. CCA 870 & 600, PQP 670 & 1680. HRA 7%, 8 % and 9%. Spl Allowance-7.75,(upto scale III), 10 % (IV & V), 11% (VI& VII) with DA. Joint note to be signed on 25th May.

Four officers organisations will sign the new scales & cost sheet at 2 pm on 20 May. Final agreement will be signed on 25th May. RBI conveyed NOC for 2nd & 4th Saturday off, which has been forwarded by IBA with recommendation to Govt. Though this has hastened the process of notification by Govt, actual implementation of 2 Saturday off may still take time.

In the meeting with IBA on 16th April 2015, UFBU discussed about the medical insurance policy. All our suggestions were agreed by IBA in principal. Officers' organisations met Sub committee of IBA and resolved many issues. Meeting was positive and will continue.

Next round of talks with IBA will take place at 12 noon on 3rd February 2015.

UFBU met on 17.12.2014 in Mumbai and decided to observe 1 day strike on 7th Jan 2015, 4 days strike from 21st to 24th Jan 2015 followed by indefinite strike from 16th March 2015 onwards

AIBOC working committee meeting on 8th Dec at Delhi took stock of past agitation, it's impact & also decided future programmes which shall be intimated shortly. Meanwhile, Conciliation Meeting is fixed by Dy. Labour Commission on 17th December at Mumbai & UFBU will also meet on the same day.

Man-Power planning was discussed with us in Core Working Group meeting on 10.11.2014 at HO. We suggested direct recruit of Manager(Credit) be discontinued & instead Officer (credit), Officer(Mkting) & officer(FEx) be taken in Scale I over & above MTs vacancy. This has been agreed.
